Essay Question: Please tell us in your own words: what does the right to keep and bear arms mean to you?

I have used fire arms to target shoot, hunt and protect and slaughter my livestock. It is a grave right and responsibility. I believe any woman who feels unsafe, should be able to access a firearm, hopefully with training. It is an equalizer. In 7th grade I was sent to the principals office for arguing with my teacher when she marked my answer (2A) wrong to the question: What is the most important our consitiutional amendments? The response time to 911 calls is long out here in the country and I fully intend to defend myself should the need arise.
